Re: How to Finger Weave with Anita Lookout-West/Osage

I always wanted to know how to do this, but I'm not good at reading dirrections. I learn better by someone showing me. Thanks for posting tho, Tree hugger. Not sure I can figure it out by reading it tho. I know how to braid 3, just can't figure out after you braid 3 do you pick up another one, drop one, and braid those 3?

Re: How to Finger Weave with Anita Lookout-West/Osage

I've  braided leather up to 11 strands. It's just moving the outside strands to the center, alternating sides. Yesterday, at the powwow at Bridgewater U, I saw a lady doing fingerweaving, holding the work on a pillow, with pins to keep the strands separate. I didn't take a close look.
